Remmers Multi-Sil Data Sheet - Remmers Multi-Sil is a low odour silicone sealing compound that contains an active product preservative. The compound is compatible with bitumen. It can be universally used for glazing work and in window construction, as an abrasion resistant sealant in sanitary areas, for expansion joints in buildings and for connection joints subjected to heavy loads. The application areas are proved by various test certificates. Remmers Multi-Sil adheres extremely well and does not need an adhesive primer on many substrates.

Grade 2 installed the Remmers Multi-Sil as part of the rake out and reinstatement of over 7000lm of expansion joints.

Following the application of our specialist coatings our sealant team was appointed to ensure that the building was watertight as soon as possible.

All panel edges that were to be sealed, received a primer coat to ensure good adhesion to the panel edges followed by the gun applied sealant, EVT Construction BPC which is an Elastic Single-Component Silicone Sealant.

Two different colours were used to match in with the different colours of the newly coated panels.
